Why I bother to blog about extremely small changes I notice on facebook
is beyond me. Perhaps it's my new found love to this social networking
site that once didn't even include my school so I had to 'borrow' a
friends Duquense email address years ago to join and I'm still using
that same account? Was that even a sentence? Does it matter?
The point is -- I just noticed facebook added this delectable little
stacked friend request feature (is this really even a feature?).
Before I really consider what I think about it, I will forever ask
myself when facebooking "What would Jason Calacanis think?" WWJCT!
If you missed Jason's entry about
declaring Facebook Bankruptcy, be sure to
check it out. I thought it was quite a humoring rant on how he's way
too busy for Facebook to maintain his extensive app/friend requests
(but I'm also glad to see he actually decided against leaving facebook
in a future post and spent several hours approving his friends).
WWJCT? I believe Jason will hate the stacked friend request feature.
He obviously doesn't like being bitten by zombies (neither do I), but
I'm sure his inclusive friend requests will end up stacking themselves
well beyond the fold of the site. No scrolling, ftw!
What do I think? After adding a mere 30 some requests, they managed to
make their way near the bottom of my browser and ruin my old technique
of friend approving that required zero scrolling. I like this feature
in the sense that I can see who I just added, but viewing my recent
profile activity which works just as well.
In addition, this also takes place for all application invites as well. A bit redundant, but it's nothing to complain about.
Either way, I love you facebook and I'm sure Jason does too. Don't quote me.
